Hackney Council recruitment campaign
Only 24% of Hackney Council’s permanent workforce are residents of the London Borough of Hackney. This figure has fallen from around 40% ten years ago. The Council wanted to increase its local workforce to help with organisational stability and resilience.
They approached Pinpoint to create an advertising campaign to attract local workers to its job vacancies website. We decided to focus on the time people would save by losing the commute and working locally. The campaign was extremely successful – there was a 168% uplift in page views on the job site in the month following the start of the campaign.
“Pinpoint have worked on a number of high profile projects with Hackney Council over the last three years. Working with local government can be challenging at the best of times, due to the nature of the work we do, and the number of different stakeholders we work with. They get this! It is reflected not only in the high quality of the creative work, but also in their ability to quickly assess how to work with clients and manage their expectations.
I have been on both sides of the equation, once as a designer, and now as a client. I would highly recommend Pinpoint to any organisation based on the work we have done, and that which we will continue to do in the future.”
